This was inspired by a book by artist Michel Gagne, called "Insanely Twisted Rabbits.

Gagne is a multi-talented artist/animator who worked on "The Iron Giant" and "Osmosis Jones". You can find links to the rest of his site and view examples of his work. I love the line work on the tentacles.
The thing that really sells this one, however, is the daffy expression on the bunny's face coupled with his Eugene Levy eyebrows. A winning combo if ever there was one. :)
