RARE BIRDS

These were drawn with Prismacolor pencils while I was scanning other art. I wish they had scanned better. I might do them in another medium.

Those are some nifty feathered freaks right there. No doubt from the Galapagos. I like the flow of it, in both renditions.

I likes me the blue one best, I do. It's funny little eye lends to it an added layer of personality that enhances the funky sweeping shapes that make up it's form.

Is it the Bluebird of Happiness perchance?
Has . . . has . . . Jack Snider finally done it? Has he gone over to the . . . *gasp* . . . Light Side??!!?

Poet: Just goin' with the flow..

Blackbird: Aww jeez... I'm flattered, but please don't tattoo yourself. (That's the parent in me coming out.)

A.C.: Sure it's the bluebird of happiness-right up until you get close. Then you realize it's the dreaded Indigo Eye Gobbler of Pango Pango! By then it's too late.
