Way...Way Out!

This is the announcement Anthony made for our show. (Good job!)
The opening was a week ago ( I’ve been sick with a cold since ) but the show is going to be up through June and possibly longer. It was very nice talking with everyone at the reception but I was glad when it was over. Right now I’m satisfied that I finished a bunch of paintings and hope to continue despite the lack of a show deadline. Eventually I’ll post the rest of the paintings. It is my intention to post an online gallery on my web page. I have to sort out some problems with my computer first though.

Eyelobite

My son named this one. It is acrylic, it is 18x24" and I don't know what it is exactly but I like it.

Spaceman Painting

This painting was done from a sketch I found in one of my old sketchbooks. It was just a spaceman, horizon line and an oval. I improvised the color and the other elements as I went (pausing to think or panic at various stages). I used sponge on the sun/moon/planet (???) shape.
