IF-GEEKY

This is for Illustration Friday and began as a marker sketch on the edge of a manuscript I was illustrating. It was then colored in Photoshop.

I imagine this guy sitting in a dull meeting about "pro-actively maximizing profit potential while minimizing manufacturing and personnel costs while at the same time harnessing the synergy of our core assets". Meanwhile he drifts into a Walter Mitty-like daydream.

Awesome - you can see him just snapping back out of his dream of being the premier surgeon in the land! Woops! That's great - looks awesome with the Photoshop paintjob too.

Great! Terrific expression and coloring.
The line work is my favorite thing about this one. Especially the hair and 'stache.

Man, I've been in this guy's shoes (He has very tiny feet. Ouch!). :)

Thanks for the comments everyone!

I can also relate to this guy as I've been slipping off to La La land at the drop of the word meeting or lecture for most of my life.

I like the loose brushy strokes.
Nice application of color too.

Looks like my choir teacher from high school. A 38 year-old Baptist virgin.

Good work big bro. I like the whole thing. Geeks away!

The pudding-head who created the term "synergy" should be horse-whipped!
