IF-Twisted

This is a quickie dashed off to meet the deadline for Illustration Friday. Originally the guy was going to be dancing but this happened instead. Thanks to my son Reed for input on the background.

I have had those days. More often than not. I love expression. Good work Jackie-san.

Yikes, twist city! What's up with the poor guy, you have to wonder? ;-) I like the background, too. Gives it an animation feel.

No doubt there is a bug trying to land on him and we just can't see it. There is nothing that makes a person look sillier from a distance than the bug avoidance dance.

Excellent drawing, Mr. Snider. The hands are outstanding. Also impressive are the flow lines of the t-shirt. You really captured the movement of the fabric.

Good show, old chap. :)

Thank you everyone. You're very kind. This drawing is kind of low in concept but fun to look at.

Thanks Roger and Design Roach!

In his comments Anthony mentions that the character might be reacting to a bug. Coincidentally, tuesday, I was taking the shutters off our house to re-paint them. A swarm of wasps flew out and I leapt off the ladder I was on onto the front porch and then bounded over the front bushes. I turned to see if any wasps had followed my fancy evasive maneuver. Luckily they hadn't but I wondered if my nieghbors had, and what they thought of my antics. I probably resembled this guy.
