Eager Client

This ink drawing was done for a gallery show called, "Works of Wonder", I had with my friends Scott Rosema, Anthony Carpenter and Mike Mason. I decided not to use it in the show because it didn't fit with the theme. Although I can't help but wonder what this guy is thinking. I like the inking I did on this. It's tight and expressive at the same time, and looks a little like an old fashioned pen and ink illustration (even though it's done with a brush).

It didn't fit the theme because the theme was not "Sweaty Perverts". :)
Great ink work, my cramped-fingered friend. The dirty hatching makes for a good contrast with the clean lines of the suit.
And I know exactly what he's thinking. Shame on him . . . and me . . . and you!

Which will be, by the way, the theme of our next, autobiagraphic show.

Your right, what he's thinking is pretty obvious. Shame on everyone.

Thanks for the comments though.

No, no, no. You guys have it all wrong. He is thinking; "I can't believe I got drunk, shot a guy in the face, and he appologized to me for it."

Heh, heh... that would never happen.

I do see the resmemblance now though. Maybe the dirty thoughts he's having are about the Constitution.
